The Rat Pack

Director : Anthony Whiteman

Musical Director : Joshus Seymour

Choreo & Movment: Anthony Whiteman

Light Designer : Richard Williamson

Prepare yourself for the most swinging Rat Pack concert experience, part of Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

This production had an updated script by Anthony Whiteman, especially for this production and an all new cast.

Combining the full sound of big band swing with charisma, panache and swagger, the trio – collectively known as The Rat Pack, had attitude to spare.

They were the definition of cool during their Fifties and Sixties Vegas heyday – Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr.

The Rat Pack Live invites you to be part of the gang and features all the patter and razzamatazz of their infamous live shows. So prepare yourself for an evening of sophisticated glamour, smooth vocals and utter charm.

Audience Reviews

This shows by far the best of Edinburgh. Me and my husband have seen 15 Edinburgh shows and this one was by far the best of them all. Outstanding cast. Lewis as Sinatra was a force. Get this man an award.

I loved this show. The sound the band create is really something special and everyone has a really good relationship with each other which is a joy to watch. Was lovely to see band members being recognised By Frank as he shared the stage with them. Frank and piano man Josh look like they are having so much fun. I urge all jazz fans, swing fans and musicians to see this show. You will want to be in it.

I adored this production and this version of the rat pack! Frank Sinatra was beyond Outstanding. His silky vocals made me very concerned that my wife may jump out of her seat and stage invade at any minute. Well done frank! The 3 boys worked beautifully together. The costumes were great and the direction and movement was very suited to the piece.

Dean Martin sang all the classics wonderfully, Sammy was a great entertainer with fantastic dance moves. Frank Sinatra was exceptional, great at keeping the audience alive and delivered all the iconic numbers his way. One of the best nights I’ve had in Edinburgh so far.

We had a great night last night! James/Dean Martin was smooth and Sean/Sammy’s performance was wonderful and very much like Sammy. This was my second time at the show this year and Lewis/Frank Sinatra was the highlight of the show. Blew me away from start to finish and loved that he tailored his performance and jokes to that specific audience on the day. By far the best Frank and Sammy that 21 theatre have ever had. These boys deserve a bigger venue next year!

Me and my mother see this show every year at the Fringe. Can I just say I’m so pleased how it’s been changed and updated. I think you have got the best Sammy I’ve seen in a few years. WOW! What a fantastic performer Sean (mezmorizing).  Loved the show. Well done to all!

Fabulous show with a super cast. Terrific singing and totally tip-top toe tapping band. Great selection of songs. One of my favourite shows of the fringe. Grab a ticket if you can.

Incredible show! Best of Edinburgh so far. Lewis as Frank is perfect casting. Can’t get over the performance and stage presence that happened on that stage. “Live until I die” was exceptional, raw talent is hard to find, but it was certainly present with Lewis as frank. I will be coming again with more friends, see you Saturday.

- Mark Dile

Absolutely brilliant performances from James, Sean and Lewis, with each commanding the stage like the original trio, and the band were outstanding. Would recommend to anyone!

Lewis’s rendition of “my way” is the most beautiful thing I’ve heard in a while. The Acting, The voice, The look. Truly exceptional and clearly a lot of time spent in nailing your performances. The 3 boys are certainly entertaining, especially Sean rendition of love me or leave me. I wanted to join him on that stage. Standing ovation well deserved for this show.

Wow! What a show! Sean did a great performance as Sammy with moves the audience absolutely loved. Great voice. Lewis as frank was sublime, great voice and reminded me of young frank very much. Was lovely to see him include the band in his performance. Me and my shadow was my favourite number, Sean and lewis had a great relationship. James singing as dean martin was wonderful. He sounded great. Overall the show was a great night, I will be coming again with more friends. Thank you boys for a great night.

I throughly enjoyed the show. Great vocals from the cast and a lively hour of music from the rat pack and the band. Frank Sinatra was fantastic, was lovely to hear his rendition of my way, tears to my eyes. Thank you for keeping a bunch of old people entertained Frank. You were great
